Amy Hertle Counseling Intensive Therapy

Intensive Therapy

Unhurried and uninterrupted time to deeply process grief, trauma and blocking beliefs. Create change and heal faster than traditional hourly sessions.

Intensive Therapy is a powerful way to accelerate the healing that you would experience in a typical course of therapy by providing longer, more frequent sessions over a shorter time span.

Amy Hertle Counseling Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy

Psychedelic-assisted Therapy

MDMA- and Psilocybin-assisted therapies are not yet available in Minnesota, but Ketamine is legal and available today.

Ketamine-assisted therapy is widely considered one of the most promising tools for treatment-resistant mental health issues. It might be an option if you have already tried different types of therapy but haven’t been able to heal from your struggles or trauma.

More than symptom management, Ketamine combined with therapy can maximize healing by getting to the root of your challenges, helping work through the emotions and thoughts that arise during your experience and enabling holistic healing.

Amy Hertle Counseling EMDR

EMDR Therapy

EMDR allows the brain to reprocess memories trapped in the mind and body, freeing disturbing images, body sensations, debilitating emotions, restrictive beliefs, and trauma so they are no longer intrusive in healthy daily living. This technique treats anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, addiction, and complicated grief.

Amy Hertle Counseling Trauma-aware Therapy

Trauma-aware Therapy

Symptoms of trauma can show up as intrusive memories, changes in behaviors, mood, and physical and emotional well-being. Instead of managing the sensations, we will get to the root of the trauma so you can move past it and heal.

Amy Hertle Counseling TRE - Tension, stress and Trauma releasing exercises

TRE (tension, stress, and trauma release)

TRE involves moving through a set of seven exercises designed to activate a natural shaking or “tremoring” reflex deep in the brain. This release can support the nervous system to restore and rebalance, which heals symptoms such as pain, insomnia, stress, and autoimmune disease.
